 Ifugao
The people of the Cordillera Mountain Range are a unique tribe of individuals who carry a strong belief, grounded by culture, in a world  of spirits. Those spirits of their ancestors and the spirits of nature. Consequently, religious practices and rituals are interwoven into the mesh of their daily activities. This collection represents examples of ceremonial containers used during their rituals, and daily activities. Carved from nature, these rare wood, gourd, and bark vessels, are symbolic in their shapes and texture, and often sculpted with animal fiqures.
